Amber Mogg Cathey has been working with aspiring vocalists for the past 14 years. She also has had the opportunity to train with some of the best performers and teachers in pop, rock, folk, country, jazz, blues and musical theatre.
An accomplished vocalist and graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass., Amber has extensive experience both on stage and in the studio and has worked as a solo artist, songwriter, lead vocalist, background vocalist, and demo and session singer and has performed in numerous musical theatre productions. Amber co-hosted a nationally televised show on CMT (Country Music Television) and has done a great deal of work as a voice-over artist for television and radio. Throughout her experiences, she has worked with artists ranging from Blake Shelton to Sheryl Crow to Gary Sandy to Allison Krauss to Roger Waters of Pink Floyd.
Specializing in commercial music, and with a strong emphasis on vocal function and health, Amber is also classically trained. She has performed with the Nashville Symphony and has worked with several children’s choirs, including the Nashville Children’s Choir. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and the Pan-American Vocology Association (PAVA).
